The city problem: there are about 131 unofficial neighborhoods in Washington, DC. nestled within, is a vibrant, bustling, weird (yes), ethnically diverse (to say the least) neighborhood called adams morgan. With one-of-a-kind businesses, colorful buildings, WATERING HOLES, ETCHED SIDEWALKS, and loyal natives who will live & die there. so what makes this neighborhood soo unique and great, to keep it alive and thriving among all others?
my challenge: helping position Adams Morgan as a thriving, attractive business hub at the 32nd annual Adams Morgan day festival. and break the record in 2009 to garner a crowd of 40,000, 75 nationalities and 10 media hits, incl the wash post.
